Friday, November 27, 2015 the Gbowee Peace Foundation Africa celebrates two of the successes of our African Girls Leadership Initiative (AGLI) Ms. Nuwoe Florence Berrian's and Ms. Patience Tete Dobson's Academic Achievements. They graduated with SUMMA CUM LAUDE with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the Mother Patern College of Health Sciences. The ceremony was held at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) in Central Monrovia. Friday's ceremony was the second in this year since GPFA’s first rural recruit Wanita Kollie received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from the Cuttington University in Suakoko, Bong County on October 26, 2015.

GPFA's President Nobel Laureate Leymah Gbowee, Board Members, Executive Director Mrs. W.E. Saydee-Tarr and Staff, expressed their congratulations to the scholars, especially on maintaining an above three points grade point average. Several family members and friends who attended the 16th Special Commencement Convocation of the Stella Maris Polytechnic University at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) lauded the Gbowee Peace Foundation Africa for keeping the dream of these AGLI Scholars alive; they shared that Patience and Nuwoe's achievements are clear indications of excellence.
