GPFA Distributes ThermoFlash Thermometers To Schools

The Gbowee Peace Foundation Africa (GPFA) Tuesday October 13th, 2015 and Wednesday, October 14th, 2015 distributed several ThermoFlash Thermometers to Schools despite Liberia having been declared Ebola-free by the World Health Organization (WHO). GPFA's Program Officer Johana Freeman informed the School Administrators that though Liberia was declared Ebola free, it is essential to continue following the EVD Prevention Protocols because our neighbors, Sierra Leone and Guinea were still reporting Ebola cases. The N.V. Massaquoi Elementary and Junior High School in the Township of West Point that hosts several Ebola victims were among several schools that benefited from the GPFA’s Thermo Flash Thermometers distribution.
