GPFA 2nd Annual Ambassadors for Family Planning Training Begins

The Gbowee Peace Foundation Africa's 2nd Annual Segal Ambassadors for Family Planning (SAFP) Training Workshop kicked-off today, Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at the Golden Gate Hotel in Paynesville City outside Monrovia, Liberia. About 20 GPFA Beneficiaries are participating in the one day event. This year's Theme is: Empowering Women & Girls: The Benefits of Reproductive Health, Sexual Rights and Proper Family Planning. The objective of the SEGAL training clinic is reduce teenage pregnancy and prevent sexually transmitted disease as well as to increase literacy rate by keeping the girl child in school, whilst controlling population growth.
